Sony vaio webcam not working after xp installtion

I bought a viao (model: cr34gn) a couple of months back with vista business pre-installed. Webcam is not working after xp installtion.
I have no info of the webcam supportive s/w

- i have a sony vaio laptop with a built in webcam and mine works to take photos and videos offline put to post videos and take pictures online my webcam does not work.. i have two other friends with vaios too and they have the same problem i am guessing vaio has faulty webcams!!!- natashasteve
