Question about RCA 25202RE3 Corded Phone

1 Answer

How do I adjust the screen contrast?

The screen on my phone displays only very faint characters and sthey are barely readable.  I would like to know if it [possible to adjust the contrast. The problem occurred suddenly and I wonder if I inadvertently bumped something to reduce the screen contrast to virtually eliminate the letters and numbers.  Thanks.

Hi-Thanks for your response.  I replaced the batteries and it made no difference.  I'm still looking for a way to make the screen characters readable.

I found the problem to be the angle. When you look down onto the LCD screen it is much clearer. When you sit back and look more at a slanted angle it is difficult to read.

I changed the batteries and unplugged the power cord for 10 seconds, plugged it back in and it was fine

Remove the battery compartment door, the bottom half of the back, should slide down.
Disconnect the cord attached to the battery pack and remove the battery pack from the handset.
Insert the new battery pack and connect the cord to the jack inside the battery compartment.
