Question about Electrolux Epic 6500 Vacuum
The vacumm works great except today when i was vacuuming the main powerhead shut off and isnt working anymore. I turn the switch on but only the light comes on. The bristles underneath are not working.
How can i fix this.? is there a belt or something that needs to be changed?
If you can hear the power nozzle motor running, but the belt doesn't spin, it is most likely the belt. You will have to get the belt from an Aerus dealer or a Vac shop. If you want to put the belt on yourself, you can. There or five or six screws on the bottom of the power nozzle that need to be removed and the cover should come off. Once the cover is off, you will see the belt and how to change it. Good Luck!!
