Will not rev over 2000 rpm 2003 hyundai santa fe 2.4 eng

No check engine light. no codes. starts and idles good. will not rev over 2000 rpm. .will not drive over 25 mph . replaced fuel pump and filter no difference.

Get someone to rev the car and see if the exhaust note sounds muffled!!! i.e blocked or bent if it sounds normal chech fuel pressure and more importantly fuel flow the guy with air flow meter was proberbly right

It could be that you have a bent valve or a blown head gasket, either way you ar elooking at some bucks to have it fixed

Hi there have you check the air flow system (pipes for blockages,pipes that may have split etc) sounds if it is air flow problem.
