Hi Scandle201
Yot have done every thing right on your side. You will unfortunetly have to take the monitor back to the repair shop. Ask them to test it at your resolution settings of your home desktop and play some video's and open some pictures on there test system.

Go-Tech

It is acting like it is not getting the video signal from the PC, unless there are problem inside the monitor, you should try it with another PC. All the cables are good?

Microtek C783 Monitor flickers when turned on

Hi there. Try to remove and reseat your video card first... maybe there's nothing wrong with it actually...

But if you check the on-screen display, like the brightness controls in your lcd monitor blinking... then you need to have it repaired or replaced.

Hope I gave you an Idea.. ^_^

I have connected my microtek lcd monitor to my dell laptop computer. the monitor is plugged into electric outlet. the green light on the front of the monitor blinks. and i get a report of "no signal" but...

Have you tried pluging in the monitor in to the laptop before even starting the computer or Putting the computer in to "Stand by" then pluging in the monitor and then bringing the laptop out of "Stand by" or yet when you do have the computer on with the monitor pluged in, try "Fn" and a button hat has like two screens on it with a small bar in between them? All these should work.

Sounds like it might be getting too hot and/or going bad. Not sure how to diagnose this without seeing it myself. That is the best that I can do. Your video card could be going bad. Try another video card on that monitor. This will be the only way to decide if it is the card or monitor.

Width problem

Your monitor comes with an internal program that will adjust the monitor. You might just need to update your video drivers, but if all else fails, just get it repaired by the manufacturer.

Monitor makes popping noise when power is on.

Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.
Good Luck!
