Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My all in one psc 1315xi worked wonderfully for 4 years. about a month ago there was a paper jam and my mom did something, and now all the printer does is turn on. when i connect it to the computer, the computer recognizes the printer (so the cable is working), but when i try to print nothing happens. also, when i try to scan, the printer just sits there. there are no error lights, so i don't even know where to begin or what the problem is (which is the most frustrating part).
thanks for helping!
For a start, try cleaning the endoer streips located at the back of the carrier cartridge an the encoder wheel for paper feeder alignment.
If nothing happens. try to inspect the rotary wheel situated on the leftmost part of the printer. It should rotate and must be firmly attached to the paper feeder shaft.
