Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 Digital Camera
I've been to a party recently and I returned to my table to find drink had been spilt on my Panasonic FZ30! I have some experience with Electronics, so I knew not to turn it on. I removed the battery and wiped down as much as I could from the surfaces and let it dry. It looked like a popular cola beverage was the damaging liquid. I've tried it now a week later and it works, but the 2 stage shutter button does not respond to the half way point for auto focus, and takes the photo without needing to press it all the way down. I'm keen to dismantle that part of the camera and clean the switch or board hoping that mind fix the problem. Has anyone got any exploded views or service manuals for the Panasonic FZ30? Any help would be appreciated.
Ohhhh...that is a bummer.....I don't have any help for you on the service manual...but I do have the exact same camera. I just posted a ? re: having the setting at 8mb and only producing 2-4mb pictures. do you have any suggestions or help for me??? my post is just a few below yours. THANK YOU..if you can help and good luck with yours. : ) Elaine
