USB cord fitting on my PC & downloading pics from my PC

There is very limited instructions on anything concerning your frame especially the USB cord. One end fits into the frame and I can't figure out where the other end fits. It doesn't match any USB openings on my PC. ALso, how do I download pics directly from my PC. I always download pics from my digital camera to my PC then I empty my memory card. Please help. I am somewhat PC illeterate. PLEASE HELP.

Look the usb port from the frame is for connecting a Stick / flash drive. not for connecting to pc.

yes, you can NOT connect the frame to pc, the usb port is meant for viewing the photo / clips from a card, usb stick on witch you added photos or maked them with phone or camera.

    Thank you the same.

How many files can my texet photo frame run at one time

I don't know which model you have but I found some different models. The other problem is I am not sure if your model allows you to just plug in a usb flash drive and run it that way. Some photo frames only let you load pics onto it through the usb. My guess is since it's only showing certain pictures, those pictures were placed into the internal memory. But the models I found range from only 4MB to around 128MB of internal memory. Then some of them also have a Memory Card Slot. So it's hard to say without knowing the model you have. If you have your manual it should give you the specs.

But here's the issue if it's only using it's internal memory. It's not the number of photos, it's the size of the photos. For instance, you can have one photo that is 2MB in size or 2GB in size. So whatever you are putting into the system needs to fit or they cannot play. So if you have a memory card, it should play ALL the photos that can fit on it. If you are using the internal memory it's going to be very limited.

To figure out the size of your pics you can see this info on your computer when you click on a pic or right click. Beyond this, you may need to contact Texet to ask them.

I hope this helps.

I need instructions on how to load pics to my Optimus 07A08 digital frame.

On the back of the frame remove the memory card, then You need to use a pc with a Memory card reader, you can get usb card readers that simply plug in your usb, then copy all the pictures you want on the card from pc.

hmm before you do anything look for a program called "undelete" look on cnet downloads or just google it it might get your deleted photos back and in the settings you should be able to copy the pics from you camera to the memory card but they might not stay in the camera though

Omnitech 8.5 Digital Photo frame...no Instructions

I had this same problem and after playing with it for several hours, I discoverd the software that came with the frame was copying my photos to the "D" drive. Since my frame was connected to my computer through the "g" USB, of course the photos were never copied. So I went the the Smartparts software (that came with the frame) and found the folder which was saved on the "d' drive. I then did a simple "copy to" "g" drive (this is where my frame was connected to. If these instructions are clear, ask again and I will try to further help you. Good Luck!

I cant figure out how to download pictures onto the frame from my pc

Connect the frame to the pc. Look in my computer - it will be a device with removable storage. - drag and drop pics or a whole folder of them to the frame.
If the PC isnt picking up the frame at all... try a USB port in the back of the computer. Also make sure the frame is powered on!

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps
