These TV's are prone to power supply failure and this sounds like it may be the case for you. I offer to repair/recondition the power supplies in these TV's for a flat rate and I also have an instructable on how to remove the power supply located here (http://www.instructables.com/id/AKAI_LCT2715_Power_Supply_Removal/) If you are interested in having your power supply repaired you can contact me in my profile (http://www.fixya.com/postBuddyProblem.aspx?budid=763646)

CAN ANYONE HELP i'm having a problem keeping the timer from going off and shutting the whole tv off. My kp-46wt510 sony widescreen from 2003 is doing the same thing, picture is bowed in the middle and...

Hi,

Most likely you have turned on the sleep function. 2nd button from the left on the top of the remote hand unit. Keep pressing until "sleep off" appears on-screen.

Or

Timer in user's menu is activated to turn off TV a specific time. Go to timer menu and adjust timer, then push cancel on the remote, this should reset timer to zero. Same with current time, adjust and select cancel, this should reset current time.

If you do not have the original remote, you are in trouble. Service tech will have remote.

Turn on the TV and only Timer light is on , no sound & picture

after holding down the menu and device the led will blink a two digit error code such as 3 blinks pause then 4 blinks then repeat that sequence a couple of times. Need that blink code to help let you know whats going on. The 34 code means lamp abnormality which translates to the power Pwb capacitors have most likely failed.

I lost my book for my camera and i wanted to know how to set the timer on it

Some cameras have a dial for shooting modes so look for a three quater circle with a timer arm or just go to the menu settings you should see it there. If no luck with either, the easiest way to get the book is visit the manufacture web site. Most major brands have a support tab where you can get the manual. On another small note, when asking questions being specific on the brand/model of a product will generate more responses.

Why won't it work?

I had the same problem with mine. Set your timer and then hold the start/stop button until the light in your timer starts flashing, it will then start warming up.
