Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

Sansa e250 I hit a problem .3 month ago , i don't know that what happened it is ? In memory, i checked that it get about 700 MB but i can't see anything And it can't play music .Please help me, somebody can send the driver's sansa e 250

Reformat the player. The drivers are available from Sandisk's website, but you may not need them.

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

Sansa e250 keeps saying "SYNCHRONIZE TO CONTINUE YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION"


Here's the deal with WMA files - once your subscription expires (or really,  the license on the WMA file expires) - you will have to renew your music service subscription or the song will no longer play on your device. 
Use Mp3 format songs - they'll never give you this problem.

Not enough space?


What i would recommend you to do is to format the player using the player itself and if that doesnt solve the problem i would recommend you to use windows media player to format your device...to format your player using windows media player go under the sync tab..assuming that you are running windows media player 11..your device should be listed there on the right side...just right click on it and hit format and that should solve the problem..DO NOT USE MY COMPUTER TO FORMAT THE PLAYER BECAUSE IT WILL DELETE EVERYTHING ON THE PLAYER INCLUDING THE FIRMWARE...let me know if that doesnt solve the problem...

Lost video and space


Once looking at the player in explorer, go to tools - folder options - view hidden files and folders. Once you select that and hit okay, your vids should be on there (but a bit opaque). Just simply delete them.

Expandable Memory


If music won't load onto Micro Sd card:
1) go to settings
2) go to USB mode
3)change to MSC format

Now you're good to go.

1.5 mb used with no songs or videos in player


Some data is reserved for Sansa's own files and/or you might have recordings/leftovers in other folders. Best would be to connect as a USB drive and delete all visible content from folders (but not the actual folders). Number of songs supported depends on the format and quality of the file.

solution #1 : try HARD resetting it by holding the power button for 15 seconds. if not solution #2 : install and use this tool to repair your sansa. Its called the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool. Try this: Switch your Sansa e250 to its Recovery Mode: 1. Make sure the player is powered off 2. Enable the "Hold" switch (located on the top of the player). You would know it's enabled when you see the "orange-colored" surface 3. Press the "Record" button. Make sure you keep it pressed while pressing on the "Menu" button. 4. keep your fingers pressed on these 2 buttons until the e250 LCD screen displays "Welcome to Recovery Mode" (if the LCD remains black, keep pressing long enough -- about 10 seconds -- then proceed to the next step) 5. Connect your e250 to your computer. (Just a reminder: The minimum Operating System requirements for a Sansa E200 player is Windows XP and above) 6. Double-click on "My Computer" and you would see your Sansa e250 appear as a "16 MB" drive. Note: If you do not see that "16 MB" drive/partition, please repeat steps 1-6. Next, Apply the firmware for the e250 (your player should be connected to your PC at this time): Step 1: Use this link to download the firmware for your Sansa e250 (for better results, please save this file on your "Desktop": http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downl... or use this Sansa Firmware Updater link: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 Step 2: Double left-click on the downloaded file, and follow the on-screen prompts. Videos have dissapeared, but memory still gone?


I had the same problem. I updated the firmware. I then set the unit to the MSC USB type. I then went to "My Computer" and right-clicked the drive and reformat in a fat 32. I now have all available memory back.
