The 3 lights on the tv are there to help you diagnose the problem. There should be Timer, Lamp, and Temp. If all 3 are blinking, the LED may be defective. If standby and temp are blinking, it's a problem w/the cooling fan.
Let me know if that helps.

My Nintendo Gamecube seems to reset by itself about every 30 minutes, can anybody help?

If the power shuts off during game play or resets after 30 minutes after the system is turned on then turns off and won't turn back on or the fan isn't working, the system needs to be repaired then. This problem that you have might be the fan thats causing this problem then.

What type of cable are you using? I would recommend using an HDMI cable as this will give you the best video and sound.

Also, try plugging the PS3 into a different port on the TV. It is not uncommon for some ports on a single TV to go bad on you.

Good luck.

Ps3 restarts itself (when it does work nothing on screen)

sounds like your ps3 has overheated. ask a good electronic repair shop to change the thermal compound between the cpu/gpu and the heat sync. let them know the gpu and cpu may need to be reflowed.

Tip: Keep your PS3 flat do not store standing on it side this will help prevent the thermal compund from moving as much

hmm, annoyingly this is quite a common problem on the early releases of the slimline Ps2 models. The power supply units get to hot and can cause this problem. I'd recommend getting an updated PSU unit which will be available online

PS3 PROBLEM

Maybe it isn't a problem with your ps3, but with the tv. Try resetting it, or asking help in the store you bought it.
Resetting a tv is mostly done by cutting of power for 15 - 30 minutes. Be sure to read the manual.
