No low end on JBL EON G2

I have no output from the 15 inch speaker. Checked inside the cab, there are no loose connections. I'm now assuming the crossover is faulty and will require pro repair job,

I would think that you have a blown woofer. Check around your area for a JBL service center.

Sounds like it could be a short or loose wire going to the speakers. You can try taking the case off to look, but chances are you are going to need to take it to a professional to get it looked at.

Sometimes it works and sometime it's not working

Must see if this can be a loose connection inthe amplifier. this can happen due to constant vibration .So open and check the power supply and the output drive of the amplifier.
Check on speaker connections, use a good soldering irron to do the job on suspected areas/

I installed a brand new tweeter in my JBL EON 15 G2 & the new tweeter blew. What else could be the problem?

These are "powered" speakers and any little bit
of distortion can be amplified enough to "blow" it!
Also the amp could be "shorted"! Have your JBL
dealer test it!!!

My JBL EON cuts out from time to time (usually when there is a lot of base) and will go back on with a good tap to the side. It has been in for repair and has some solder joints checked and re-soldered. ...

hi there... i have same problem and i believe the main amp (part 339555-001 EON 15 G2) have to be replaced. jbl prosound sell it for $112.80 and you need to do the job yourself, which is not too big deal but not too easy either.
i did not start yet.
please post later if you did it. thanks.good luck. joel.

JBL EON 15 G2 clicks and pops

my son and i fixed an eon a decade ago that had this problem. we swept a sine wave through the audio spectrum and discovered it started barking somewhere around a low D on the piano.
Turns out the mains connection was intermittent right where it enters the eon from the wall. Soldered the ac power connections and the problem went away.
