Do you have the eMachines recovery disc? If so, then you need to enter the bios of the laptop by pressing a speciffic key at the start of the boot process. It should tell you what key to press in the POST. Most likely across the bottom of the screen somewhere. The F2 and F10 keys are popular as well as the Delete key. Once you get into the BIOS, Locate the menu containing the boot sequence. Make sure to set the CD/DVD drive as the first boot device. Save the changes and exit the BIOS. Put the Recovery or Windows CD/DVD in the drive and follow the on-screen instructions.

I have a Fujitsu V2010 and its asking for a Driver for DVD/CD Drive on Windows 7 Install. Any ideas?

Browse Fujitsu for an updated driver. I expect there is a driver missing or it is out of date.
Hope that helps.

The Problem is when i turn on the laptop system operation not found is written on the screen.

More than likely, your hard disc is gone, or a virus has corrupted your Operating System.

Try inserting your Recovery CD into your drive, and then boot from that disk for a restore. You'll probably lose your files.

Screen is black saying no operating systems

You may have a corrupted master boot record on your hard drive. If you have your original operating system CD insert it into the disk drive and see if it will start. If so let it run and eventually it will ask you if you want to install your operating system or fix it. Choose the "fix" option. This may get your master boot record fixed.

Restore factory settings on a fujitsu siemens amillo pro

Hi there,
You should be able to fix this simply by inserting the original Cd that came with the computer and following the onscreen instructions.
Or the startup disks (if created) when you first used your laptop.
Alternatively If you do not have the one that came with your computer then you should be able to purchase one from ebay quite easily, and then insert it and follow the onscreen instructions.
I hope this helps you, Chris

Delete everything off

See the instructions below from the support website - you need the discs that came with your laptop. If you do not have them, find an OEM copy of your systems operating system and install. Be sure to download and install all driver software from the Fujitsu Website.

Restoring operating system
Using the ”Windows Recovery CD" and the ”Drivers & Utilities CD", you can restore the operating
system of your notebook.
All hard disk contents are deleted during operating system restoration. After this, operating system,
drivers and software utilities will be reinstalled. For this reason you should try to save important data
to a backup medium before you restore the hard disk contents.
► Insert the "Windows Recovery CD" into the optical drive.
► Switch the notebook on.
► Follow the instructions on the screen.
i
Detailed PC knowledge is required for manual partitioning.
You must then reinstall all the drivers. Use the "Drivers & Utilities" CD provided.
