Wifi not working in Acer 4710z

Go here... http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=19
You will need to know what manufacturer made the card that is in your computer which can be found by going into the control panel, finding the network settings and look for the adapter settings page, then find the adapter that says WiFi and it should have the manufacturer and model, either Intel, Broadcom, or Atheros. Then find the drivers for it on that page, download and reinstall them.

The manufacturer of my computer is Award Modular BIOS how can i download my other drivers free

HI cops_bhe21. The Award Modular is the BIOS. It's not the motherboard maker. You have to read somewhere on the motherboard something like VM-567 and that's the model number. You write than on google and you will find it. Also you can download a program called Driver Magician. It's awesome for downloading drivers you dont know the make and model. (hopefuly you at least have the ethernet controller so you can download it from the comoputer you have problems with. I hope this helps. Please dont forget to rate and write positive feedback for our fast-free support today. Thank you :D

I have no network adapter installed after an os repair what do I do to fix it

go onto your computer manufacturers website and look for support, driver downloads. Use your computer model, serial number or service tag number, depending on your manufacturer. Get a list of driver downloads and look for your network downloads. Download the correct driver for your Network hardware. Than install the driver onto your system.

I hope you found this information helpful. I could not be more specific not knowing the make, or model of your computer.

If you did find it helpful, please leave that feedback for me.

Thank You,

Brian

I recently reinstalled Windows XP onto my computer and when I did it didnt recognize the driver for network adaptor. How do i get that adaptor driver?

Go to the Internet site for that adapter's manufacturer, and locate the drivers for that exact driver. Then download it and install it, and it should work fine.

Network card

A lot of network adaptors can work using generic drivers. Myself, I download drivers from manufacturer's websites such as acer (the maker of my laptop) and found that the drivers they provide can be used on a lot of different systems. I found a website that provides a list of network adapter drivers.. have a look on this site. I would suggest the realtek driver, but if you can find out the model or manufacturer of your card, it would be a lot easier
