Question about Compaq Presario V4000 Notebook
Fortunately, laptops are composed of many parts. Unfortunately, almost all of those parts can break.
Lets figure out what is wrong with your laptop first:
When you turn it on, do you hear the power supply (fan) start? If so, it could be one of many things, but most likely a bad video card.
What about some clicking? (This would indicate it was the hard drive)
