Norton symantek not working with microsoft, now pad won't work
I went to Norton for help and got cut off. My lap top came on and said N/S was not responding with Microsoft. I went on line and someone helped and then said couldn't and left. Now my pad won't work. i have to use the right click bar.

you cannot download the product key for norton, the only thing you can get is the installer, but the key, you will need to buy from nortons website or it's authorized distributor, once you have it just go to setting and choose register
Try to start your windows on safe mode.
To do it restart your computer and press F8 button before windows logon appear then you will start windows on safe mode.
After you start windows on safe mode go to control panel again and try to remove it.
Yes get a better antivirus program for one thing. Norton Antivirus is very corrupt and definitely not worth the price. I promise you this is true. I suggest you go to http://free.grisoft.com/ . This antivirus program is free and is recommended by some of the best network engineers around. This program is a lot better because it does not install hidden file in your PC. These files are there so you'll think Norton is really working well. If you should go this route you should remove the Norton program and all it's traces. Open your norton 360 and then updates by clicking upates menu. it will directly updates your norton to the symantec websites or you cam manually updates downloading the update here : dhttp://www.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-N95.html After updating restart your system to automatically fixed some errors. If the system still same error just click the balloon on the taskbar and select "i have my antivirus (not probably same word)" something like that. if Finally same error encountered uninstall the norton 360 and again reinstall after rebooting and updates. don't worry about the alert, you know already that you are protected.
