Most have "hack codes" but yours is in a select group of a few that simply cant be done with a couple pushes of a button.
As far as I am aware the only way to get thesemachines to play Region 1 discs is to have them chipped. A variety of solutionsare available, and it needn't be expensive (typically £30 to £70) but youshould be aware that any internal modifications to your players wouldinvalidate the warranty. my dvd on my home entertainment center is doing the following : when you open the door to the dvd it alway open / close by it self, and when you finally get the dvd player to close with the dvd in it, the thing just want play any dvd disc.. it a pioneer model xv-dv55
