Firstly I would check you have the latest firmware installed. Follow this link and select the correct revision as shown on the base of your unit. - the website also provides you with a little help on hardware tested that CAN be repeated. Please note if your hardware is not listed it does not mean it CAN'T be repeated, it just hasn't been tested.

How can I fix my network connection via the extender?

The password is wrong for the connection you are choosing.

Don't try and log into the router, just the extender, they should not overlap in wireless ranges, other wise this can cause problems.

Why can't i connect to

okay, nevermind throwing out the old router...we have a great new one, industrial strength! And we still have not dead zones, but not fully powered you can use the really works well, (even on not so strong wireless routers) once you get it set up that is...a little frustrating to say the least, it's not exactly plug and play, at least it wasn't for us.
Make sure you start by resetting to factory settings, just in case...get paper clip, unfold, stick one end into the reset hole for 6 seconds. Okay, now plug in...wait for the power light to come on first it is orange and then green. okay, now go to any computer or tablet...(you have to have a router that is wireless capable running of course) search for networks should see your regular router SSID (name here) now there should also be one called NETGEAR_EXT, that is the extender. double click on should ask you for username and password, well, is asking you for it which for the factory reset extender, should be admin for the username, and password for the password. It will ask you for the very same thing on the next screen! And you insist...type in admin for username, and the word password for the password, just like before you have to punch in the same info twice, on two different screens...and then presto! The extender control/info screen comes up! This is where you want to be! Now you have to fill in the information, and your hard work will be rewarded, the extender will be connected to the router (once you fill in the ACTUAL username for the router, and the password...what you would normally fill in for the actual router)
Then the extender will get the name of (yourROUTERNAME_EXT) happens is all good. Just be patient and let the screen apply the settings. When finished, look for networks to connect to, you will see yourROUTERNAME_EXT in the list. This means that now your wireless device can talk to the extender, which talks to the router. All three lights will be solid green (not flashing) on the extender.

No internet connection via DWL-G710

Your extender may not be able to talk to the router. Make sure you have set default gateway in extender to IP of the router. Turn off encryption first. Check the router if extender shows up in active client list or active mac address list.

Problem with sitecom wl-130 connection

I think I have the solution: you have to click on the basic settings tab, then n "site survey" button, then (optional) on "refresh" button.
Now you will get the information about your network, and you just have to check the channel number of the signal from your main router. then you have to set that channel in the "channel" button of the basic settings tab. You also have to choose Universal repeater as working mode of the sitecom device, instead of Access Point.
Hope it helps.
By the way, all these settings should be automatic in such a device.... But this sitecom range extender is ****.
I suggest everybody is reading: DON,T BUY THIS ITEM!!!! Spend 10 bucks more and get a working one!!!
