As you are not able to recover your Yahoo password using your alternate email ID, you can recover your password by answering the secret question you may have set at the time of signing up for the account or by asking Yahoo to send you a password recovery message on the mobile number that you may have mentioned on the Yahoo account profile. To know how to use these options, you can refer to the following Yahoo webpage: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/recovering-lost-forgotten-password-sln2047.html
Click Forgotten Password and either choose the Secret Question or Send Password Reset Link to Alternate E-Mail Address options to reset your password.
Further information might be required from you than just the answer to the Secret Question, in order to proetct the integrity of the Mail Account. In the event that you cannot negotiate the full set of Security hurdles, then you might be directed to an e-mail channel to contact Yahoo mail Support. If you cannot satisfy Yahoo Mail Support that you are the Authorized User of the mail Account, then the account in question is likely to be blocked and you will be unlikely to ever have access to it again unless you can somehow remember the forgotten password.
If access to the original Mail Account ultimately proves impossible, then consider setting up a new Yahoo mail Account with a dissimilar enough E-mail Address to avoid confusion with the original one and then notify as many of your contacts as possible for whom you have e-mail addresses, of your change of e-mail addresses and also ask them to help you by forwarding your new e-mail address to any mutual contacts for whom they have the e-mail addresses that you do not.
You've most likely forgotten your username or password. It is advisable that you keep these in a safe place to avoid this. If it is a yahoo address, you can contact customer care and identify yourself and answer their secret questions. They will reactivate it for you.
However you can open a yahoo address and a gmail address. You can then import your yahoo into your gmail address and use the notebook of yahoo to store your username and pasword securely
Click the "Forget your ID or password" link at the lower right of your screen, it will help you retrieve your password for sure. And you can have your email address back...as long as you have the information needed to verify your account, one of it is the the answer to your secret question...good luck!
