Question about Panasonic CQ-VD7001U Car DVD Player
I took my 2000 civic in Best Buy to get my stereo system fixed and finally when they were done it asked for my Panasonic CQ-VD7001U ID-CODE. I have never had this problem before and I have taken my stereo apart a dozen times. I tried the 0000 as the default but that did not work either, is their any other way to reset this deck. I have tried dealing with Panasonic and all I have gained from this is a million phone numbers and know body knows the answer to my problem. PLEASE HELP!!!
Turn unit on with remote and open screen. You will be prompted to enter a code. If you don't know the code, you can use this overide to get your unit working again. As stated above (unit on; screen open; prompting code). In the lower right corner you have a 4-way toggle used to skip track, etc. Hold this firmly to the right for at least 10 seconds and the unit should reset the code. Do not let go until this happens. Remember hold it firmly! This will work! You will need the remote to get the code prompt!

Hold the track button to the right for 10 sec. and it will auto enter
it self, get the code. Then go to the ID code menu and enter a new one.
Good luck and let me know!!
