Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Windows 3.1 won't recognize these I.3 webcams I got

Windows 3.1 runs on an old PC, without any USB connector.
Perhaps you mean windows 8.1?
You can be right, because since windows 7, Microsoft is only making drivers for certified equipment. Most factories, only try to get certification on windows 8, for their new camera's And the factories also can't (or won't?) develop new drivers so their older cams can be used on new operating systems. I had the same experience with a very expensive Logitec remote controlled webcam. On the box is compatible with Windows Vista. But when I first bought it, I could download a driver from Logitec, so the camera worked perfect.
After I reinstalled my windows 7 recently. My cam would not work as it did before and I could not get the same drivers I had before.

So the want you to buy new computers for the new software, and then replace all the equipment attached, because your can't install correct drivers for the old gear.

Logitech has the Windows drivers for their webcams at their site.
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/435/3056&hub=1&selectedcrid=435&selectedcid=3056&cl=us,en?section=downloads

Just pick your OS (XP, Vista or 7)

I hope this helps.

Logitech quickcam pro 9000 video - does not work,

http://www.camera-drivers.com/companies/605.htm
if you take a look on this site ..you will see that all logitech drivers are built for windows xp..at the top...so.....if you are running vista or more...you will need a suitable driver for that ..built for vista or patched..( if so ..is understandable why it works in another pc with xp on)
if this isnt the problem and you either have a vista compatible ...or are running xp on your machine ...its probably something related with your usb ..
ity might also be ..so me driver related...I had someproblems once ...after I adapted a videocam ( digital) to work as a web cam ...and it needed a special program to do that ...some capture program ....after i uninstalled that ...I wasnt able to run a normal webcam ...cause it was already messed with my system files and it was asking for that frogram to run ...the solution in that case was to reinstall the operating system ...as a last resort you may try just that ...( it will fix any possible usb driver related problems too)
