Question about Dell 922 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Dell 922 Printer

I have loaded the software and everything is connected and looks like it is ready to run but I cannot print from any programs. I get the following message. "There was a problem printing. Check the properties for your printer." I have two computers and the properties are the same. The only difference is the computer that the printer works on runs on microsoft XP, and my computer I am trying to run it on runs Windows Vista Home Basic

You will have to use the New Dell 922 VISTA drivers and not the XP drivers in order for it to work with your Vista Loaded PC. The new drivers for the 922 under Vista are available for download at Dells website. make sure you download a copy f the latest driver and software for the printer form the Canon website and save them in a file titled "Canon" so you can easily find it again. Go into My Computer and open "printers". Click on the Canon and then "uninstall". This will remove it from your system. You will next need to go into "Programs" called Programs and Features in Win7. Highlight each Canon program one at a time and them select "remove". Reboot your computer and follow the installation instructions for your printer. In most cases, you will install the driver first, connect, and then turn "on" the printer. If everything looks ok, then begin installing the software. Reboot your PC and print a "Test Page" by going back into My Computer>Printer> select "canon" > properties> print test page If the page comes out ok, you're ready to go. If this doesn't work, call the Canon support telephone number for assistance. Good Luck

Hp 1410v all in one printer does not print from computer. Everything else works. It scans fine and makes copies.

How to install printer


First thing to do is install your drivers and/or software for your printer on your computer. Do not connect the printer to the computer until you are finished loading these files.

If its a brand new printer, it should have came with a disk to install the software. Find the disk and put it in your CDROM on your computer. The computer usually recognizes the CD automatically and the installation program will appear on your screen and give instructions to follow. If your computer does not auto recognize the CD and start the install then you need to manually locate the program to start it yourself. To locate the installation file on the CD double click "my computer" from your desktop and find the drive that represents it. Your CDROM should be either "D" or any letters in sequence beyond that point. The name of the install program should show up under the drive letter that represents the CDROM. When you locate it, double click on it and find the application for installation. Double click on the install file and then just follow the prompts to complete it. After the installation of the software is complete, connect your printer to your computer and turn it on. Your computer will automatically recognize the printer and tell you that your device is connected and ready to use.

First load the cd software into your PC. The once you follow all the directions in the set up/run , you must connect the prrinter.
This will be now detected and installed- the new hardware.
Your printer is now ready. Make a test print.

My lexmark all in one 7350 will not print


I suggest you unplug the printer from your computer. Then uninstall the software by clicking on Windows logo Start button > Programs > Lexmark 7300 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Then restart pc. Once pc's ready, check if your Vista is running on 32-bit or 64-bit by clicking on Windows logo Start button > right click on Computer > Properties. Getting "printing application has stopped working"messaage


You will need to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver. Please follow the steps given below:
To uninstall:
1. Click on "Start" and "All Programs."
2. Go to the "Lexmark " " Series."
3. Click on "Lexmark Uninstall."
4. Click on "Next."
5. Click on "Finish."
6. Click on "Restart Windows."
To install:
1. Make sure no other programs are open.
2. Insert the CD and wait for the installation window to appear.
3. Connect the USB to your computer when prompted to do so. If an "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears when the cable is connected click on "Cancel."
4. Click on the "OK" button on the Install screen to begin running the software. Follow the prompts and accept the Licensee Agreement to allow the software to load.
5. Once the software has loaded, click on "Finish."
6. Once the software has loaded, you will be able to click "Finish." Your software is now installed.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Says ready to print but won't, blinking orange light will print menu pages, blinking green light

How do I fax?

My mac won't recognize linksys router.


It sounds to me that u are using windows_vista ?? Vista has to have its OWN o/s software\programs made specially for it!
TRYOUT::turn off all virus scanning software,firewalls,etc,etc, EVERYTHING that loads automatically .One way is to wait after u turn on the computer.wait!, wait!, then close everything that sits on the bottom of the right screen.Connect your Linksys so that your o/s sees it., Load the drivers AFTER that, then see what happens.
TRYOUT 2:: goto [start]bottom left of screen (no!, the other left!!)ONLY KIDDING! [run] msconfig,select "secective startup", UNcheck everything that looks like it is protecting your computer.[reboot] then follow TRYOUT_1
