I brought a used campaq IA-1 and cant delete old users and add me

log in as administrator and then go to my computers properties,in that manage,in that select users and then delete the user which you want to delete.hope this will solve your problem

You can try resetting the device and check if that would help.

If you know the current user name and password, log on to windows, go to control panel, go to users, create new account, create new account and add password. Reboot using the new user name and password.Then go into control panel and delete the old user. That should fixya up.

This is caused by some plug-ins problem.

may be it cant be solved by just re-installing yahoo messenger.

easy way to solve this problem is ...

1- create a "NEW USER ACCOUNT" from 'control panel>user account for yourself and restart your computer.
2- login to the new user account and go to control panel> user accounts, and then delete ur old user account ( u may want to save your personal folder and files when prompt)( if you want to save your internet explorer favourites , do it manually )

3- just connect your internet and enjoy yahoo messenger.

Try this,
1: uninstall Firefox
2: delete Firefox files under c:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mozilla\ for all users
3: delete firefox files under c:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\ for all users
4: reboot
5: download install latest firefox version.

Discussion: When we are running imagex we are not deleting user data from the HDD, in this process we are overwriting data. But, its better to set expectation to Customer that thre might be possibility of data loss. After completing the process we can logon to the system with new user account that we create and we can retrieve data from old user profile.
Here is the process to run Imagex:
1. Boot to the computer using VISTA DVD.
2. Select the option repair my computer.
3. Go to command prompt
4. Go to D: prompt
5. Type Path d:\windows;d:\windows\system32 and press Enter
6. Go to Tools folder using command "cd tools".
7. Use this command Imagex /apply d:\dell\image\factory.wim 1 c:\
This process will take 15 Minutes after that reboot the system. After rebboting we will get OOBE Screen.
We can logon to the system using new username. We can retrieve the data by navigating to old user profile.
How to retrieve the data from the old user profile after using the Imagex procedure :
1. Click Computer
2. Click Local Disk C:
3. Locate Windows.old and double click on the same
4. Click Users
5. Click <username>
Note : <username> would be the login name for which he has forgotten the password
6. Accordingly you can access the files available in the folders Desktop, Favourites, Music, Downloads etc
