How do i find a user manual for my JVC 52smart television model number LT49N675A

You should be able to get the manual direct from the JVC website, but that model number appears to be incorrect.

JVC Television Site

Even re-crafting to model number to their way of listing doesn't bring it up. Also, if it is a 52", the model number should reflect that so it would be LT-52N675.

Finally, this is the better way to find it in Google

Need a flyback transformer

This part rarely fails in this set so let me know if sweep transistor is shorted or what?

To answer: Contact JVC with the correct model number and try to get the part number---nothing JVC will be cheap but with the actual part number you can Google to see if available.

I would also suggest checking someone like Suburban Electronics who sells a lot of these parts---online catalog and or phone.

Blue lines arc down from the top of the screen on JVC IART TV model number AV-65WP74. Is it worth fixing? Thanks

Yes it is worth fixing . You can fix it yourself for about $ 21 . You need to replace the convergence I.C. chips , The part # is STK392-310 . you need two of them . You can get them from . They are about 6 bucks a piece and about 10 for shipping .

I have a 32 inch jvc that is 4 years old it went black and is making loud zaping noises what is my problem and how do i fix it model number is av--32d305

The zapping noises are coming from the flyback transformer which is also why you do not have a picture. JVC discontinued this model so it is a good chance there are no parts available to fix it. You would be better off buying a new tv.

Problem with my jvc av42pd20es picture looks like a negative photo

There are two things that can cause what you see.

The main drive board to the Plasma tube is not supplying proper drive voltage, or proper biasing to the Plasma tube. Or, the Plasma tube itself have gone weak.

I hope you did not pay too much for that screen. This type of repair is very expensive! I am sure that is the reason why the seller put the set up on auction.

I always tell our customers, to never buy used unless you know the seller is reliable, and that you can test the set and have it professionaly checked before buying it.

If you can find a couple of Plasma sets of the same model with a good display tube and maybe some bad boards, you can then do some board swaps to make one out of the two. That is if the used sets you get don't all have the same fault. We've also been through this.

Hello gladwin6,

You may have at least a blown fuse. However you may also have other damage to your power supply. This often happens due to the voltage spike caused by the power coming back on suddenly. You can check to see if the fuse is blown, however once you change the fuse and if this does not take care of the problem, I would suggest that if you do not have a background in electronics, that you have a qualified technician take a look at your TV set.

I hope this helps,
Thank you,
