Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Dropped the phone in literally a fraction of an inch of water for only a second. everything on the phone works fine except the rollerball will not select when pushed in....scrolls fine in all directions.
Try removing the silver cover around the scroll ball, and remove the ball. There should be a little white square underneath it. If there is no white square, but a red square, then it could be water damage. I had the same issue with mine.
