Question about Panasonic PT-51HX41 51" Rear Projection Television
The convergence I need is more in depth than the user manual covers. A tech came out and replaced the part that does the convergence and then went into a menu using the front control button and did a very intricate convergence. He decided it was taking too long and that I could live with the non covergence in HD mode. Now I would like to finish his job but doen't know how to access the detail menu.
Panasonic 47W rear projection. 5 years old.
Go to this web site and Print out information on How To Enter Service Menu http://www.freelist.org/archives/techassist/09-2005/msg01111.html Read this very carefully when trying to get into service menu its no easy walk in the park, i hope i never have to set convergence on another myself. (1) Switch to cable (2) Set sleep timer 30min ,exit menu , now enter channel 124, Press vol- on tv ,at zero volume a Red Ck should appear , Re enter menu turn sleep timer off ,Now Press power untill you see oVoo using ch+ Adjust to OV1 ,now Press vol+ You should now be in convergences---- Mute locks- cursor to move- vol-&vol+/ch- ch+ to ajust lines---- Press R-Tune to switch color to adjust When done Press (7) to save then Press Then Press and hold power and action for 5 sec . GOOD LUCK.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
