I have a Hp G62 laptop.. From last 3 months, i am getting this error message.. Consider replacing your battery... Tell me some solution..Thanx

get to the mainboard
there is a jumper near the cmos battery usually shows the
word (jbat) near it , try to change its position for some
seconds while power is off , this way will clear cmos and set the
mainboard bios to default settings.
start the system hit delete or F2 to enter setup then exit saving changes.

Probably the extreme heat and dryness out there drained it out, and or not being able to recharge it to full capacity. Did you charge it the recommended hours to charge when first used as stated in the manual the battery?. If you have access to a freezer put the battery in a ziploc bag seal and leave in the freezer overnight then take out and charge your battery overnight it might come back to life and hold it's charge once again.

Remove the battery and ac adaptor. also remove any peripherals.
Make sure that ac adaptor is working ok
Then press power button and hold that for 20 seconds to statically discharge the notebook. Then plugge that into the mains (without battery) and try to turn on. IF Notebook will not boot. Call service as mainbord needs to be replaced.
