Question about HP Color LaserJet 3500 Printer
Ive taken out the cartridges to clear a paper Jam, now everytime I try and close the front door it wont close, its almost like the left hand side of the door is getting blocked by something internally
Check the swing arms to see if they go up and down properly. They are behind the print cartridges and are attached to the plastic piece which stops the cartridges from falling inside the printer. make sure those are all guided and aligned correctly. Thirdly, if you are looking at the printer from the front, take off the side panel on your RIGHT (3 screws total--if im not mistaken) and look at the arm movement when you open and close the door. check the left side for the same movement. I've worked with a few hp 3500's and 36's, but im not a pro! just some suggestions.
