Hello,
Probably, the best solution is to show your unit personally to the vendor.

This is Inky's solution from an earlier post. If it works, I'll figure out a way to get him credit:

In order to fix this issue, we are going to need to force the unit into a
recovery application. In order to do this please make sure that the unit is
completely shut off. When the unit is off, you are going to want to press and
hold the TV/LCD button and the power button at the same time until a recovery
code 101 pops onto the screen. As soon as you see this, let the buttons go.
Once you got this screen up, you are going to want to repair the operating
system by arrowing down and clicking repair. After this is done it is going
to ask you to connect your device to the computer and install an update file.
In order to do this, you are going to want to go to www.archos.com and go to
downloads. You are going to want to download the firmware for your unit.
After the firmware is saved to your desktop, plug the unit into the computer
and open up "My computer" and you should see the Archos in the list
of drives.
Your going to want to copy the firmware onto the root directory and not in
any file folders. Once the firmware is on the Root directory, go ahead and
unplug the unit from the computer. It should still say Please plug your
device into the computer and install an update file. Click OK. After this is
done, it is going to tell you to please connect DC or USB in to continue with
the update. Go ahead and let the unit install and reboot. After this is
done, you should be able to use the unit properly. If the unit still does not
work properly, we are going to have to create an RMA for the Archos.

    You can also try this:

    1. connect the archos to the PC

    2. click on repair

    3. click on done and wait for a few seconds and you will see the archos
as a drive in your windows (be patiant it takes some time)

    4. once you see the drive, open it and make sure the System folder is empty, if not delete the file that exists there.

    5. put the firmware update file directly on the root drive

    6. click repair again on the archos and done.

The timer works sometimes and then other times it won't...any ideas?

Hello. Your issue might be a defective timer. REMOVE POWER FIRST!! Definitely check for loose(or burned) wiring connections. Over time, the contacts can oxidize and/or heat can loosen the spade lug connectors that attach the wires to the control. The exploded parts diagrams and parts lists can be found here: http://www.partstown.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Reedy-PartsTown-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewExplodedDiagram-Show?CategoryID=iCrUwxtSbaquiXjVOSUqRhaJMk

Can you convert a 480 volt to 220 on a es/20sc double convection oven

You need a transformer to do that. I assume that you are in the USA and you have a 480V three phase service. With 480V three phase there is 277 volts between any two of the phases. There are transformers to drop 277V down to 220V.
A better solution is to ask your power company for 220V service. The power company owns the transformer and you only have to provide the in house wiring. .If you have a commercial establishment you have to meet all local codes and be inspected. If you don't the liability is very great.
Use a licensed electrician.

I deleted some photos awhile ago from my iphone and some text messages, about 3 months ago. Can I get them back from my iphone directly or can I get then back from the backup? Or are they lost forever?

Well, though iPhone use quite different storage mechanism, still you CAN recover deleted or lost data (such as text messages, contacts, photos etc) with a specific iPhone data recovery program -> http://www.anysoftwaretools.com/iphone-data-recovery.html

Hope this helps, regards!

Recovery mode

For those with the 4 GB model, try removing the SD card and powering completely off, without selecting any of the recovery options.  You will probably get prompted to recover when the device boots, click OK to recover - do not reinsert the SD card.  Perform a complete power off and power on cycle without the SD card.  If this works, reinsert the SD card and perform a power off/power on cycle.  If it prompts you to recover the system, the SD card is bad (the data can probably be read by the device after it has restarted, but will continue to cause the recovery mode).  Note that reformatting the card in the device does not seem to resolve the issue.  Try reformatting the card in a PC or digital camera (this option worked for me).

Pictures deleted!

If the photos were on a memory card then yes you have a good chance of recovery.
http://datadoctor.biz/
Go to this site and download the demo programs. You will be able to see if they can recover your photos. The progs are not free but memories are priceless - I know!
Even if they are on the camera memory they offer progs to recover photos from the camera.

Good luck

PS do not take any more photos until you have tried the recovery software!
