Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
At the beginning of the wash cycle the water stops and the machine alarms with F1. Then at the start of the rinse cycle with 16 minutes left before the load is finished it alarms F1 again. You can hit the pause button and then the start button and it continues on. The manual says call a tech for service. What needs to be serviced? Can I do this myself, if so how?
F1 code = Primary Control Failure. Replace the machine/motor control assembly. If you use a screw driver in front of the machine to open the top you will find a repair manual on the inside of the front panel. or depending on the model, you can even unscrew the bottom and find the manual. The manual inside is actually meant for technicians. It contains the error codes and instructions related to them.will be looking forward for your comments if there is any further problem in this.
