GGE WJSR2070B2WW clogged. How do I get to punp? - 0386312.jpget the front panel off. use a putty knife and wrangle it. The electric pump will be right there on the bottom right. The pump comes apart easily. Just give it a twist. A bit of water mess. Get a washtub and put the pump in it before removing the hoses. Easy fix. The hardest part is getting the dang front panel off. :D

My HE2 front loader has a problem draining. It will be "locked" after washing. It is either full of water still, or needs to go through an extra "rinse and spin" cycle to drain the...

Hi

This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely, if the issue returns then it is time for a new pump. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

GE washer (Model wcsr2080B4ww) will not drain or spin. The hose is clear and the "door switch" makes an audilbe click, so I assume it is still working

This is simply a problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum.
You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (not familiar which with the model you mention) there is probably a round filter cap on the front of the machine at the bottom (It may be behind a small door or hidden behind a clip on panel on the bottom)

My front loading GE washer WSSH300 will not drain.

Don't know if this will help or not, but your owners manual is available at http://genet.geappliances.com/DocSearch/Dispatcher
Water won’t drain
Drain hose is kinked or •
Straighten drain hose and make sure washer is not improperly connected sitting on it. Top of drain outlet should be less than 8 ft. (2.5 m)
above floor. Household drain may • Check household plumbing. You may need to call be clogged a plumber. Plumbing this washer directly to a pipe is hard on the motor. Usually the drain hose elbow is inserted in a stand pipe, meaning the washer would drain water on the floor is the stand pipe is clogged.
Several items can cause the lack of draining.
If you can get to the drain hose, try lowering to a point that it will drain into a bucket. If it drains the system is not clogged. If you advance the timer and the washer drains this maybe the culprit. The motor can overheat and shut off. I would advance the timer to spin and listen for a hum in the motor and then quiet, a sign that the motor has overheated. If the water drains it sounds like the timer is at fault.
I would first make sure the drain hose is properly installed and not kinked somewhere. In earlier GE's the water drain pump could clog, your manual doesn't indicate that as a defect. Regardless timer, motor and pump are in the cycle to empty the washer water.

I can't get the water to spin out of the cylinder. I think it is clogged with feathers from a down blanket I tried to wash. Is there a filter that I can clean out?

You can TRY to blow the clog backwards into the washing machine... by packing a "blow" canister vacuum cleaner or a shop vac on "blow". If the pump is clogged, the reverse pressure will force the clog into the washer... and then you can mix it with some water and try to let it go out in the normal way.

The machine must have the water turned off and the machine must be set to the "drain" setting. The pump will clog sometimes (rare) and I have used air pressure to clear them before.

Only other solution that I know if is to lay the empty washer on its face and access the pump from underneath... disconnect the exhaust hose and try to "fish" out the clog.... good luck

Fixing a clogged pump on GE Profile washer

waht u need to do is get a bucket now take the outlet hose and place it into it low to the ground if water comes out then it will be that your pump is faulty and needs replacing but if it doesnt the only way to do it is towels on the floor and with a low pan place this under the sump hose which should be in the middle of your drum which then leads to the pump pull slowly but not enough for the water to push the hose of do this until empty the only other way is to take it outside and pull the outlet hose of this is the quicker and dryiest out of them all but do do the first part to c if the pump is faulty m8
