Question about Insignia IS-DVD1001 DVD Recorder/VCR
I have the Insignia NS-DRVCR, and somehow lost the manual. (It seems your website boasted it had manuals, but I don't see any...)
Anyway, I've connected my cam-corder to both the front and back inputs, and the closest thing I've gotten to a connection (going thru all the menus) is the message" "Not connected to camcorder" -- even though it clearly was!
When I purchased my Insignia NS-DRVCR, I there was no manual included. I have figured everything out except how to close the DVD after recording.

Thanks, I already solved the problem. There was no "Setup" button (on the remote, anyway) to follow the instructions given -- in the manual, which I downloaded!.
Instead, I remembered that "Input" often allows you to select a source for something, so when I chose THAT button, I was able to choose the port that had my cam-corder.
Then I simply pressed record on the DVD player while Play on the C-C.
