Question about Dell Latitude D610 Notebook
HI I JUST FORMATED A D610 1GB RAM 60 G HD ALL DRIVERS AND UPDATES INSTALLES BUT THE MACHINE IS TOO SLOW
I know this might sound strange but I was working on a similar model and had same problem. Fresh install of XP tried every trick to speed it up, but to no avail. I did have a message when booting up about the power adapter not being right even though it was the right one. Long story short..try replacing power adapter(charger). Some Dells will not run full speed if there is a problem with the power adapter (charger).
Hopefully you find this helpful.
