I have contacted tech support. My tv is till under warranty (8 months old) and a repair tech will be coming out to the house to fix it within 10 business days! lol with the holidays right around the corner, I am sure it will be well after the 1st before anyone gets out here!

Please tell me what was wrong with your tv I have the exact same thing only my warranty expired 2 months ago. What did the part cost or did they put that on the invoice since yours was still under warranty? Thx

TV is plugged in, but there is no yellow logo light at bottom of TV. Obviously, there is no power getting to the TV circuitry. Is there a cheap, easy fix?

I have a Vizio E472VL television. When I go to turn it on the logo appears on the screen and the "vizio" icon back light turns on, but nothing else happens. I have tried coax, component, HDMI, etc..

Had the same thing happen to my Vizio TV. It was on warranty, and they replaced the motherboard. It's been fine since then. There appear to be only a very few parts inside. Power supply, motherboard, and display. That's it. Your power supply is good, as is your display. You just need a motherboard.

Vizio e322ar won't turn on

My Vizio E322AR White Vizio Light comes on when plugged in, then slowly fades to "Off". I unplugged and replugged - same. I held down the power botton on the side, and plugged in... same. Vizio light comes on (White) and over 5 seconds or so... fades out to nothing.
Remote doesn't do anything, buttons on the side don't do anything.
Going to pull the back off and look for bad Capacitors, and test fuzes for continuity. Wish me luck ... will report back later with results.

Vizio vw37l hdtv20a standby light on but wont turn on

you either have a faulty power supply or faulty main board. Vizio power supplies on the older sets are pretty decent. It's usually the main boards that go. These older main boards tend to be pricey so it may be better to buy a new set.

Solutions (2) Best Solution That little fella is only turned off by unplugging it. If all those little lights in America could be turned off we could do with one less nuclear power plant. If unplugging it is not an option, my wife's solution is to cover it with a piece of black tape.

remove all screws on the back of the tv, carefully pull off back cover. you will see two circuit boards one on the left (Power) and one on the right (Video) on the Video board there is a small plug on the right side with a yellow, white and red wire going into a small white connector. the red wire is what controls the orange light on the front. now that the plug is pulled turn it over and you should see a small white plastic piece that holds each metal connector on the end of the wires in. pry this piece of plastic up for the red wire and pull at the same time, the wire will come out of the connector. now tape the metal connector with electrical tape and tuck it behind something or tape it to the chassis. plug your connector back in. put the rear cover back on. now your tv will only show the vizio logo in white when you have the power on. If you wish to disable the logo for both orange and white just disconnect the white plug completely.

I called Vizio, was told I needed a hard reset, and this fixed my problem: I unplugged the TV; held down the on button for one minute, then plugged it back in. Hope that works for you as well.

Please describe your screen black only logo comes on i pulled plug to remove logo cannot use power switch to remove logo problem:

Hi.

All you can do is leaving the TV unplugged for fifteen or twenty minutes, in the attempt to drain power completely and reset it.

Also disconnect all video cables when you restart TV. If TV is still frozen and does not pass POST screen, then the TV eprom must be reflashed, or the mainboard replaced. This must be done by a technician.

Here all parts for your TV:Vizio TV Parts | ShopJimmy.

Try unplugging power and check video connections first.

Regards.

My vizio vx32l will not turn on. vizio logo will

The main board has failed. Replace the main board will fix the problem.

By the way, where did you buy the TV? If you have bought it from Costco then try to give them a call to see if it still under warranty.

Hope this will help.
