My bean won't play songs when i download them on to the device.
Every once in a while when I download a song the device says "cannot play" It's only with the Bean though, when I try the same song on a different device it always works. Is there anyway to get the songs that the bean won't play to play?

If you have a song that will NOT erase, remove all the songs you have on the unit you wish to save. Disconnect from the computer and Format the unit using the built in menu. Reconnect to the computer and reload all your songs. The unit should now be 'pristine'. An occasional format of an MP3 player is always a good idea. It fixes all kinds of weird problems. Once every six months should be often enough.
--**Windows Media Player**-- If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.
if it happens with one single song it's because the file type is not formatted, you'll need to convert it (try mp3 :)
if it happens with all of your songs first try checking their type
if it's okay, try formatting your walkman and putting new songs
in philips go gear device it wont show the song or video unless or untill its a compatible one(e.g it wont play real player .flv files) to the player..check whether you can play the song from the device in your computer. if yes try a different youtube converter software.
when you synch your device to windows media player 11 on the side bar under the name of your device says songs click on it then find the songs you don't want right click and delete as for the songs that won't play i'd say it's probably because it doesn't support the format of the music
In order to play your song you will need to try to transfer one track to that device...once you do that all the songs should acquire new licenses...you need to transfer tracks to your device once a month in order to play the songs...you should be able to play your purchased tracks....if not you might need to format the device inside WMP....then you need to check the licenses on your purchased tracks to make sure they dont have any restrictions...if you have any questions...firstname.lastname@example.org
The Sony bean needs a downloader program to get songs on it the program is on Sony.com basically the bean doesn?t see the songs because of the format. Just go to Sony.com and get the download and put the mp3s threw the program.
