I don't know what type of controller you have, but all the wireless PS2 controllers I've used come with a receiver that you put into the controller port, and then you should be able to use it. The wired controllers, of course, you just have to plug in.
Um well it all depends on what you want! I would say the ps3 is the best... only bc there is no internet charge added on and you dont need to buy a controller charger as well as the built in blu ray player and huge hd ...
360 you have to pay for internet, charger for the wireless controllers, buy a hd drive ect unless you get the elite..
I have both and have added linux to my ps3 which runs like a computer...
ALSO you can play ps 1/2/3 games on a ps3 if you buy a 60gb version.
In my personal choice id stick with ps3..
I bought the Multi-Tap. I have tried to set it up for 4 players and it doesn't funtion.
I have the right game and still it doesn't even respond. I checked the Version and it was a right one.
I plugged it into Port 1 and plug 4 controllers into the Multi-tap and a memory card into Multi-tap's Slot A.
What should I do? All I am guessing is that the product was deffective. Am I missing something?
sure they do but not fuses as you,d recognise them.
these are usually small rectangular blocks on the motherboard, usually white or black.
this is a job for a competant electronics or PCB repairer.
Look at spending £50-£100 on a repair.

haha you know i had the exact same problem with my PS3 version of the game i tried to trick the game by getting an adapter so i could plug my old PS2 guitar hero controller into it and just play 2 player that way and the exact same thing happend. Luckly i have a bud who works at game stop and he told me that second guitars for the game have been put up on sale yet so you have to buy the pack again for another guitar. How stupid is that, but yeah bud you me and everyone else is out of luck for now. But good news my bud at the stop told me they come on sale in about a month so not to much longer befor were all rockin out
Ask yourself a few questions: Is the PS2 overheated? Was it under any physical contact? Try plugging the PS2 in a different power outlet, then try taking out all controllers and plug one controller in the second player controller spot.
