if you don't here ok beep or any error beep:

1. First check out speaker is connected properly to motherboard.
2. Remove all component from motherboard like HDD,FDD, RAM etc..
3. Just put only processor to your board and power-up
4. There must be a long beep for missing RAM, if not means you have problem in Motherboard or CPU. Try out another board and another CPU to find out which one is faulty.
5. If you got missing RAM beep, then power-off and add RAM. Then power-up there must be ok beep (only one beep) or missing RAM beep. If missing RAM beep, then your RAM might be faulty try to clean the connection point with pencil earaser and try out again. If no success then try with another RAM.

Did you install the graphics card first, then try to install the drivers from the graphics card's CD? This
method is doomed to fail.
Why?
Because Windows 'sees' a new hardware device, and tries to match up one of it's generic drivers. There
wasn't any drivers installed from the CD, so Windows just found the next best thing.
The drivers CD should have been installed first, then the computer turned off, unplugged from power, and
the graphics card installed.
Now the monitor is installed to the graphics card, and you're on your way.
This bypasses the default setting of using the on-board VGA.

What to do now? Delete the software you have installed in your computer, and start over. (Start>Control
Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Graphics software>Remove)

Also you may want to see if an IRQ has been set for PCI VGA. (It's Plug n' Play or otherwise known as PnP)
Go into BIOS Setup, and set an IRQ for the PCI VGA (The term you'll see is -> Allocate IRQ to PCI VGA)
How?

Don't know if you've entered your BIOS Setup before. If so, disregard Number 1 below. (I'm not trying to insult your intelligence)
1.After you press the Power On button, the computer manufacturer logo screen will come up, (or instead
of a pre-built computer manufacturer name, it will be Asus. Computer manufacturer logo? Examples: Dell, Gateway, HP, and so on) Watch your monitor screen closely. As SOON as you see the logo splash screen,
start tapping the Delete key. Tap in 2 second intervals. You will now be in the BIOS Setup utility.

2.You're in the Main Menu. Look across at the headings. Second one over -> Advanced.
Press the Right Arrow key on your keyboard. Advanced will now be highlighted. Press the Enter key.
Now you're in the Advanced sub-menu.

3.See the ->Onboard Devices Configuration heading? 6th heading down. Use the Down Arrow key, and
highlight ->Onboard Devices Configuration Now press the Enter key.

4.See the ->Advanced PCI PnP Settings heading? Use the Down Arrow key to highlight it. Press the Enter
key. Now use the Down Arrow key and highlight -> Allocate IRQ to PCI VGA. Use the Right Arrow key to
highlight Yes, or No. Either Yes, or No, will be to the right. You want it to state Yes. Use the Minus key,
( - ), and Change Value. Change it to -> Yes
Now press the Enter key. Then press F10, and the y key. (It will look like a capital Y for clarity. You'll
be tempted to hold the shift key down, and press the y key. This = NO. Just press the y key. The y key is
for Yes. ->Yes you want to save changes)
Now press the Enter key.
Your computer will restart.

Basically, any graphics card is capable of being compatible with this motherboard. I had some difficulties for a while until I figured out you have to MANUALLY set it to use your PCIE 2.0 GPU output.
How to do this is to set your jumpers to external output only. First thing you'll want to do is update the BIOS on the motherboard (Which you can do by getting "Asus-Update". Find it on google, easy to use, just make sure your computer doesn't crash during the BIOS flashing.
Afterwards, set the jumpers to use your PCIE-2.0 slot. Took me a little while to figure this out, and it's a little hard to explain.
Above your PCIE-2.0 slot there are 5 little blue 'plastic-like' things. Those are your jumpers. Take them out and insert them HORIZONTALLY as such:
+ [ + + ] + [ + + ] + [ + + ] + [ + + ] + [ + + ]
Basically, make sure the jumper things are connecting the little drawing there. They HAVE to be horizontally inserted, otherwise this WILL NOT WORK. Just plug in your monitor to the graphics card's output, and you're good to go. Hopefully it works for you.

You should be able to use any graphics card with a pci-express x16 connection. Just a note, Make sure when shopping for a graphics card that you pay attention to the required wattage of the card. This needs to be lower than the wattage of you systems power supply.
