Yes, Sandra, you need to plug this CD player into a tuner. Almost any tuner will work. Using a red & white audio cord (and any cords with similar plugs), connect the Line Out from the CD player to the Line In on the tuner. Depending on the tuner, you may have Line In inputs for CD player, AUX, and possibly others. Any of them should work.
If you don't have a manual for the player, you can download one from the Sony support web site at : 50 Disc CD Changer
Hi, The cd disc is not in his place inside the multichanger, you must open the appliance and try to take out the cd without forcing, otherwise you wil brake the mechanical system,
after this the system will work well.
Unfortunately Bose will not release their schematics or parts lists,
effectively giving them a monopoly on repairs. According to their web
site, www.bose.com, they will repair most Wave radios for $100 or give
you $200 credit towards the purchase of a new set. Check your options
before you spend the big bucks though. A new HD radio, with better
sound and a MUCH lower price, might be a better choice than repair of a
problem prone Bose.
That is a dirty or defetive lens, try using a len cleaner , like the ones here. If this does not work it will be necessary to take apart the unit and accees the lens to clean it, or replace the lens pickup. In this case call the number listed on the owner manual to get assistance, the unit should be under factory warranty. Try cleaning the lens first.
I think there may be a problem with the system (defective parts) - I, too, am having this issue. I am going to contact the BBB - maybe if enough of us complain we will get a recall. To file a complaint:
I had the same problem and went to the Bose Tech Support site and found this solution. It allowed me to eject the stuck CD. The same problem happened again when I tried to enter another CD but after repeating the process below the CD ejected again and after that it worked fine.
Hope it works for you.
Try performing a reset with your Wave® music system upside down:
Unplug the system, flip it upside down, place it on a firm, level surface, then plug it back in again
If the CD ejects when you do this, the system may need to be serviced. Contact Bose® Technical Support or call 1-800-278-1281
