I have a zx4800 touchscreen gateway and i want to conect it with the tv is it possible ?

You may be able to add a second monitor. You need a USB video adapter to get an external video port. There are no external video ports on the ZX4800 all-in-ones. Here is an example USB VGA adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812225007 . DVI and HDMI versions also exist. These aren't the greatest solution so don't use them for gaming.

These will work if the TV has a compatible port. If your TV has VGA input, you are fine with this option. If your TV has HDMI inputs, you need to check the specifications. Some TVs have HDMI ports that do not interpret the signal from a computer. If your TV only has composite or component video inputs, you will need a converter from VGA (RGB) to the TVs input. (Component is YPbPr.) One option is http://www.ramelectronics.net/product.aspx?zpid=3294 . VGA to component video cables do not work; those are meant for projectors that understand the RGB encoding.

I hope this helps.

How can I get my Gateway desktop to recognize my Projector?

it has to be set up as an additional monitor/display. so, there are settings to set up the displays as either twins, unique seperate or something like that. have not had to do it. but i know that the graphics have to be able to recognize what format the signal is. pc settings change and graphics setttings change. have you done both? the projector should have had instructions? if not look for the manual online.

Which cords and/or plugs should I use inorder to connect a projector to a computer

if your desktop doesn't have a standard vga socket then you can get a dvi adapter that fits onto the end of a vga lead. you will still need a seperate cable for audio as a dvi connection only does video.

I have a GT4016 Gateway Desktop. I want to purchase a 2Terra Internal Hard Drive. Would this be a Sata or Pata Drive

If the computer is already open its easy to tell if you have SATA or PATA capabilites. Most modern computers have SATA and maybe one PATA. An SATA plug looks like a sideways L. The PATA ports have a couple rows of pins and require a cable ribbon. If you have both kinds of ports you should go with the SATA because this has a much higher bandwith (1.5 Gbps I think)

How do you hook up the tv thru dvi out with a sony pcv-rs620g

There are several ways to do this. The two best are:

1. Get a DVI to HDMI cable. This will allow you to plug directly from your computers DVI to your TV's HDMI.

2. If your computer has an analog (rgb (vga) 15 pin) input, you can simply get a dvi to vga adapter and plug into that port.

Currently, I am using option 2 for my own use.

In the photo below, I point out the HDMI, RGB (VGA), and audio inputs. You must use the audio input but you have a choice of using the HDMI or RGB for video input from your PC. If you have the extra HDMI slots, I would use that. If not, the RGB is fine.

I have 3in1 USB 2.0 to IDE & SATA Cable but nothing to show me how to use this kit

SATA 3.5" 2.5" IDE 3 IN 1 TO USB 2.0 CABLE ADAPTOR KIT

1 external connection kit
1 internal connection kit

The internal connect kit consists of 1 red USB connector cable
and 1 internal white male molex connector to SATA female power connector
( 1 yellow wire , 2 black wires , 1 red wire )

the external connect kit
consists of a 3 pin power adaptor (with a tiny plug to save space) feeding a power supply which powers either IDE thru a Molex connector or SATA through a supplied adaptor. Supplied also are data connectors to link the IDE or SATA hard drive with a USB port. Use this adaptor set to retrieve data from a hard drive when it is not mounted in a computer.
