Re: setting preselection keys
If you are then go to Control Panel.
1. Click on PRINTERS.
2. When the Printer Properties come up, CLICK on KEY SETTINGS.
3. Then set up the keys by selecting the key to be setup.

If you are on Vista (Maybe XP has it too), go to the Classic View in the Control panel/Default Programs. At the bottom click on "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults" From there, follow your nose back to the one you want--down carrets open some choices. My KB-0532 was set to "custom" and then it let me chose my browser, mail program, etc.
Was there software that came with the mouse. There should be an applet in control panel that allows you to adjust settings for your mouse. It sounds alot like it have proprietary settings that allow you to enable it to send a double click signal with a single click. and that option inadvertantly got enabled.
Please search the control panel for mouse settings and see if this is the case.
If NOT please let me know so i can try to think of what else it may be. Also it would be beneficial to know the Model of logitech mouse you have
If your keyboard is provided with CD installer, its better to install the CD to control the setting of your keyboard. If CD is not available you can download the software on you keyboard brand website. If this doesn't help, please state the Brand and model of your keyboard.
