Ht-x30 samsung cinema system display unknown disc

When insert any original disc unknown disc is displayed . video disc and music cd's play fine

Go to menu then disc menu it says "DIsc menu not supported."

Mine did the same thing due to dust inside. Regular disc type cleaner didn't work. I posted how I cleaned it myself in "DVD's wont play in Troubleshooting above.

TThe player does not play this type of dvd disk! only pre-recorded movies and CDs Try hooking Up a player that plays DVD+ and DVD- disks!Hope I was of help!

Samsung home cinema ht-330 dvds wont play no disc displayed

The most common reason is either a dirty or bad Optical Pickup unit in the player which is what reads the disc, and you will get no disc, cannot read disc etc.

Hi i have the samsung ht q20 dvd cinema system, i recently put a code in the dvd to make it multi region however now it does not play any original or copy dvds at all... i read in a forum you can revert...

While "NO DISC" message appears on the display of main unit, hold the main unit's STOP button for longer than 5 seconds. "INITIALIZE" appears on the display and all settings will return to the default values.
Using the RESET function will erase all stored settings.

Want to make samsung ht-x20 home cinema multi regional. when entering code 84269 and enter the player then shuts down. Still not playing DVD. It still asks "check regional code". Ernst

hi there! turn on the hometheater then wait for the no disc display, press the stop botton, do not release until the unit turn off, you will see the initial word on the panel,then try to play your disc
