Q. What trackball wireless mouse is compatible with Logitech K260 keyboard/mouse combo? Is it the Logitech M570 trackball mouse that works with K260 keyboard?

The trackball mouse will come with it's own wireless adapter, So you can use any model you want. Mouse and Keyboard are fairly generic devices and will install themselves.
So you can choose any trackball you like and it will work as expected.

Mouse pad not working

Examine your "Function"/"F" keys and look for a touchpad icon. If you find one, hold the "Fn" key and press the touchpad icon button to unlock the touchpad. Move on to Step 2 if your laptop doesn't support this feature. Plug a USB mouse into an open port on your laptop. Click the Windows "Start" button. Click "Control Panel" in Windows XP and double-click "Device Manager." Type "Device" in the search box in Vista and Windows 7 and click "Device Manager" from the results. Click "+" next to "Mice and other pointing devices." Right-click the touchpad and select "Enable." Your touchpad is now unlocked. Hope this helps.

Hello there Mauricio,

Try to re-sync the keyboard to the base but first, keep away any wireless device like your mouse from the receiver. Make sure your keyboard is just near the base.

Press the button on the receiver, and then verify that the light on the receiver starts to blink. Follow the instructions on the dialog box that might appear. If there is no dialog box, press and release the Connect Channel button on the bottom of the keyboard. Check the green light on the receiver. A steady green light means the synchronization was successful.

If the resynchronization fails, try to reinstall everything and make sure you are installing the correct driver for your OS.

If it is only the keyboard that suddenly stopped working? You might want to ask for a replacement since it is still under warranty.

When i want to type something it doesnt respond but the mouse works just fine..

Take the keyboard off. Shut your PC off. Plug back the keyboard well and restart your PC. Test your keyboard. Does it respond? If it doesn't, left click your Setting, Control Panel, and the Add Hardware wizard. Troubleshoot and reinstall the keyboard. Back to the Control Panel, left click the Systems, Hardware, and the Device Manager. Then left click, the Keyboard,
right click to open and see the properties and status.
If it says it is working properly, then try changing your
keyboard and see the result.
