Picture only lasts a few seconds

This is an old old TV and when our newer one broke we dug it out of storage as a replacement. It worked 100% fine when we put it in the garage. However, now when we turn it on the picture and sound comes on, but after a few seconds the picture goes away, but the sound remains. what's the deal?

Garage door moves few inches and stops, springs are fine, sensros are fine.

If it is not blinking when it stops, then the capacitor is blown. Replace the capacitor and it should resolve the problem.

The tip broke off my pen. How do I get the old one out and then put in a new tip?

I used a razor blade and dug in a bit where it broke off. Minimal damage--not recommended but I got it out.

Chain on garage door not moving motor working fine

Most likely the chain has come off one of the gears, or is stripped. If you look at the chain from one end to the other you should be able to see this . There should be a gear up by the motor and another close to the door. If the chain has come off, you should be able to put it back on the gears and adjust the tension so that it does not come off again. If you are handy, you can replace the gears if that is the problem. If not, you will need to have someon replace it, or if the opener is old you may need to replace the whole unit. They don't last forever.

CAUTION - Don't ever adjust the springs on the door itself. Doing this may result in injury or death! If you are unsure about a garage door, it is probably best to have someone come and fix it for you.

Lowrance 100 works lowrance 500 dosen't [dropped] swap chip?

You cannot use a chip from the AirMap 500 in an AirMap 100. The AirMap 100 is not compatible with the mapping used with the AirMap 500 and the AirMap 100 does not have a memory card slot.

I suggest you use the AirMap 100 while you think about getting the AirMap 2000 or some other newer aviation GPS unit.
