-   I use my m240 to listen to talking books. (Same category as songs.) I tried to delete the old book from the player but when I want to listen to another book the old book is still there.
This is driving me crazy!
When I went into folder options for my m240 I found that the box next to "Show Hidden Files" was clicked so that is not the problem.
I have done a "Select All" and then deleted everything from the m240. The screen is blank but like I stated above, the old book refuses to go away.
I could deal with a problem if I could see the old book! It's there but not there.-   MWooden
Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.

Well, how can i reset my sansa e260? i tried that to solve my problem where it was stuck on the "refreshing database" screen, and I tried for the solution but the situation is same and it's not working. Should I just return it to the SanDisk Company or get it repaired?
