Question about Lexmark X75 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Printing problems my printer will not print (correctly) while on-line. I can print fine from my documents etc, but when I try to print from internet explorer, the page that prints is extremely small print and not in the same context as it should be. Any suggestions on what the problem might be? This has just started recently and the printer is several yrs old. Nothing has changed except that I went from using AOL dial-up to another internet provider that uses internet explorer. I don't know if that is the problem or not, please help, I'm not good with computers anyway. Thank you!

    I am still having the same problem with my printer, but I did contact Lexmark and they said that it must be a problem with internet explorer. Maybe someone out there has seen this before and help me find out how to correct it. Thank you so much

    Thanks for you response, wingnut. I wasn't sure though if the background printing should or should not be checked. It is currently NOT checked. I also went through all files and made sure that aol was nowhere to be found, but I still can not print while on-line through internet explorer. Any further help would be appreciated.

Uninstall every instance of AOL. Go to the tools>internet options>advacnced to se if background printing is checked. Font can be printed as small as 1024x768 on some printers. The X75 is a buggy printer and Lexmark has had several problems with this model.

select the part of the page you want to print with your mouse.

then press file -> print

on page range, set it on - selection.

It will print the selected part.

Be sure you have set your default printer when you were printing documents from internet.

Anyway are you saying that you print the whole page on the internet, and it's does not print anything?

Do you got error message?

Whenever i try to print anything my printer prints the first 5 lines or so and then just stops and moves on to the next page where it print the first 5 lines before giving up again.


What type of document are you trying to print(PDF, MS Word doc, etc)?
Is the printer connected via USB cable, Bluetooth?

First thing I would do is try printing a different document or even a different type of document.
If printing different documents results in the same problem then I would uninstall the current drivers, download the latest drivers from Canon, then install those drivers and try printing again.
Also, if the printer is connected to your computer via USB cable verify the cable has no exposed wiring or try a different USB cable.

Printer seems to be skipping


As the printer is printing fine from word......try to print from notepad and wordpad also.

If it prints fine then it is a problem with internet explorer or it can be also a problem with a particular website.

If you are facing the same problem with all the websites then try reinstalling Internet Explorer.

When trying to print color documents or photos using our Canon MultiPASS 700, the photo or document will have stripes all the way through it. It has also developed a problem of having fine lines that do not print when we are printing a black and white document.

HP LaserJet 1020 Prints a Black Line when at the right side when using Ms Word 2007


First, you need to try update the latest microsoft office patch file from microsoft or you can open the MS Word, go to "HELP" menu select the update MS Word or related. Try the latest patch file first. You also can try windows update and select custom update, see their list have this problem solution or not. Second, you need to go to HP website download latest driver for LJ1020 and suitable use on Vista. Lastly, if still not solve the problem, you need this problem/issue to microsoft, ask their solutions. Kent
