Question about Kenmore 16602 / 16604 / 16609 Built-in Dishwasher
There seems to be no power to the unit. when the door is shut ,the touch pad dosen't lite up. there is power to the recepticle. Is there a fuse somewere on the inside of the unit?
There is an Interlock switch on the door that stops all funksions of the machine when the door is opened.
WARNING! BEFORE WORKING ON THE MACHINE DISCONECT POWER FROM THE MACHINE.
Generaly you need to remove the Control Panel Top Of Door (sometimes the whol inner linning of door) to access the Micro Switch that performs this very nessasary function, this switch should be the problem and will need replacing.
They are very cheap to buy.
Take it slowly, take photos before starting work and during so that you can not forget how it oes back together.
