My trio 4.3 android tablet has a cracked screen and won't unlock

The resistive touch layer is right under the glass. If it is damaged by the crack it won't respond as normal.
There is little you can do about this, other than replacing the screen.

I have a Sony MP3 player model number NW-A808. The machine still plays the music but the screen looks cracked although the glass isn't. It doesn't display my songs or menus. Can you help?? Many thanks

If you know how to open NW-A808 MP3 player then please open it and confirm LCD is OK or not.
If LCD found cracked, you need to order it under part number " X-2178-012-1 " SVX LCD ASSY
Below exploded view might help you to open this player.

Face is cracked

Abuse, not a defect. You pay. Cheaper to buy one ("recertified") for $9 + tax free shipping from Get another pair of earbuds that way too.

yeah, man, i did the same. cracked the glass, without damage to the screen, and then just made one myself, cutting it out from a cd-box and then glued it on :)

Sansa e250 cracked faceplate needs replacement

If it's just the faceplate (and not the underlying actual LCD) you could replace it with the intact faceplate from an otherwise defective unit. Any of the e200 series should fit. Try that online auction site to see if you can find a cheap defective one, just make sure the faceplate isn't cracked before you bid.

These mp3 players should *always* be placed in one of those clear protective cases. I have mine not only in a clear plastic case, but also in a leather case with a belt clip. Never just stick it in your pocket as that will surely lead to a damaged headphone jack.

Screens get broken easily

I had this problem with mine, i sent it to sony and they replaced the screen under warranty, but it has since happened again, as the player was out of warranty (and paying to have it replaced would cost £75) i decided to have a go, and inside, the screen is cracked, its the internal glass panel, not the outer plastic one thats craked.
