Reset the tru-read mod

It takes too long to use the tru-read mod so I want to only do one reading but I can't reset it. I would even settle for 10 seconds between readings instead of 60 seconds. I have read the manual but I can't get it to reset. It lets me reset the time and date but not the tru-read.

I had a hard time setting this too.
You have to press the "set" button while the unit is OFF not on.

The oil pressure gage started registering 1/4 instead of it's normal 1/2 even at 1700 rpm. I FREAKED! Thoughts?

I have an oil pressure gauge that reads in analog, 0 to 150? something like that, any way, it moves like a tachometer, idle down around 10, revs up to 55, 60 when taking off and then settles down at 35 while cruising, I notice a change with heavier oil. Also, I know it will read 55 lbs pressure with 1 qt of oil in there, I tried it. So the pressure gauge has nothing to do with amount of oil in engine. As long as it is full, It should be ok, as long as it is reading pressure, but if the pressure drops off, shut it down and find out what happened, If it loses all the oil, the temp light should come on long before the oil light.

It will not read games just dvds

Hello,

This is caused by your drive and laser.

1 question... Have you recently tried to Mod this system?

moving on....

DVDs take less spin power to read, games take more. So, in result your system reads only DVDs because your Drive isn't spinning fast enough.

It would need to be repaired. HOWEVER,

If this system has been modded, it has potentially damaged your drive and system.

Not reading cd's

After i try to find the registry (which is not available)
Why not give this a try:
  1. Start your computer after SHUTDOWN
  2. After your DESKTOP appear on the screen for about 10 second, QUICKLY INSERT ANY CD/DVD (in my case I insert Glee)
  3. Let the computer run for a while, don't do anything until it settle down
  4. Check at MY COMPUTER whether your cd is detected
  5. I got mine work this way!. Good Luck my friends!

Will not read DVD discs.

It looks like you have a lens problem, DVD and CD use a different error correction and different track format.
A dirty lens can read CD but not DVD.
Tru first using a lens cleaner like this ones:

If it does not work you can try cleaning the lens directly with cotton and isopropyl alcohol, you will need to undo the screws at the button and to take apart the cover. Unplug power when doinfg this.

If it still does not work, since you aready reinstalled the firmware, the lens may be faulty.
You can order the lens pickup from factory and replace it.
