Bounce House We bought a pre owned bounce house. It has two tears in it. The patches are still in the box however we don't know how to put them on. Are they heat activated? Are do you use some kind of glue!

My best thought is to use an adhesive (rubber cement will do the trick) to apply the patch then heat it with a hair dryer.

'86 4runner front end feels like tire bounce, broken boots on each side of axle assembly. would this cause the tire bounce? and if so, is this worth the task of do it yourself? Thanks

I have an '86 Runner myself, most likely the cause will be blown shocks. I would also check the wheel bearing play and the ball-joints at the top and bottom of the steering knuckles. The broken C.V. boots don't usually cause a tire type bounce, more of a consistent vibration that varies at different speeds. And the shocks are pretty the only real DIY item on that list, everything else should be done by someone with experience, preferably Toyota experience.

I hope this info helps!

I lost the plug for the base of the bounce house . Who do I contact to get another one??

If you don't have any paperwork, I'd do a Google search for the manufacturer. Here's one I found:

At around 60 mph, wheel bounce can develop on road, seems to be trigered by a ruff road patch

could be a broken belt in the tire move the tirew to the back if it still happens then I would say it;s in the suspension if the bounce moves to the back then it;s the tire

It's eating up the string - what do I do?

Try not to bounce the head unless the rpms rev high. High rpms are a sign that the string is worn short. Bounce the head to dispense more string only when it's obvious you need it. If you tear around bouncing the head on the ground or dragging it (sometimes it's hard not to...) all the time it's going leave two inch pieces of string everywhere because it's being dispensed when not needed. My new Echo was using string up faster than I liked so I tried a small test pack of string with a more aggressive cross section - It worked so well I bought a large roll.
