I can't get any sound on my Nokia 6111 at all. When i try to reset to factory settings it asks for a security code. I typed in 12345 as it advised me to do in the handbook but that was invalid. Any ideas what to try now?

Nokia 6111 is Nokia Series 40 mobile phone so there is not hard format code or we cannot format series 40 mobile phones. You can try to restore the factory settings by giving this code *#7780# and then enter the security code normally nokia have 12345 security codes. Hard format can be done only in Series 60 mobiles phones
Or update the firmware of ur phone.
formatting using *#7370# wont work in my nokia 2730c but it could be done manually. Go to Setting, then press Rest. factory Sett., then from the list appeared select Restore All and then the phone will ask your security code. Enter 12345 if your default security code was unchanged. Factory setting will be restored and personal will be deleted so consider to back up your phone (using nokia pc suite) before formatting.
try these codes: Soft reset code *#7370# Hard reset code *#7780# If the hard format code mentioned aboive does not work, try the following manual method to hard reset/format
